Everything in my life circles back to writing. I still remember pretty vividly a moment in fourth grade when a teacher singled out my short story and read it aloud to the class. It was a pretty adventurous tale full of runaway mine trains and boiling lava. Indiana Jones would've quite liked it, I think.
I wrote competitively from second grade until the day I graduated high school. Then I went on to study journalism and promotional communications at Cleveland State, where I served on the editorial staff of an independent student newspaper for two years.
Since then, my writing has been published in multiple newspapers and in a horror anthology. I've also spent a great deal of time crafting content marketing posts for businesses that specialize in everything from dental work to assisting animal shelters.
Words are most of my life, and they're the one thing I wholeheartedly know.
